Sex workers escape death as fire destroys a brothel In Rivers State

The owner of a popular brothel, Pedro Hotel, located in, Diobu, Port Harcourt, Rivers State and several of his workers escaped death on Sunday, June 28 as the structure burned down.

the owner, Prince Ihunwo, a popular activist and environmentalist in Rivers State, watched in horror as his business burned down to ashes.

The fire reportedly started from a restaurant located in the hotel building.

According to an eye witness, efforts to reach the state fire service proved futile as their numbers rang with no response.

To that effect, they resulted to self-help, which, however, turned out unfruitful.

Everything in the building burned down and all the 20 rooms were razed, albeit with no lives lost, according to PM News
