- Omoyele Sowore has praised RCCG for the protest
- The nationwide demonstration was instigated by the GO, Pastor Enoch Adeboye
- Sowore urged others to join in the struggle to liberate Nigeria.
Yesterday, members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God took to the street to demonstrate against the incessant killings, insurgency, kidnapping that has riddled our nation over the past few years.
The didn’t call it a protest, though. They, instead, referred to the demonstration as “Prayer Walk”.
However, that hasn’t prevented people from praising the effort of the popular Pastor.
One such people to have acknowledged RCCG’s efforts is Omoyele Sowore, convener of the popular #RevolutionNow protest.
“I salute the @rccghq on the protest against insecurity staged nationwide today & tagged ‘Prayer Walk,” the popular publisher said.
He went on to urge other religious institutions and individuals to join in the struggle to liberate our nation,.
He said, “I want to urge other churches, mosques, artisans, students, youths to join in the struggle to liberate our dear nation. Resistance is the key to liberation. #RevolutionNow”.
