There was an Uproar in Shogunle and Ladipo area of Agege Motor Road in Lagos state on Monday afternoon April 20, as six suspected ritualists escaped being lynched.
Reports have it that the suspected ritualists were arrested following a futile attempt to arrest a street sweeper.
The ritualists specialize in kidnaping passersby along the road and drag them into the deep drainage along the road.
In any case, today, the outcry of a street sweeper drew the attention of residents of the area and they came to her rescue.
One of the suspected ritualist on seeing the residents made attempts to run away but was chased by the area boys and was seized; along with five others.
Fortunately for them, the police arrived at the scene just in time and to them from an apparently looming mob action.
