Popular music producer and older brother of the defunct P-Square duo, Jude Okoye, has expressed concerns over the negative impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the entertainment industry. Music particularly.

According to him, there might never be a show or concert until scientists develop a vaccine for the novel coronavirus.

He wrote saying, ”They way things are, there may never be any show/concert till there’s vaccine for covid19.

As an [artist], if your income is based mostly on shows, brace yourself for the long hols,” he added in anther tweet.

Indeed, the pandemic has resulted in the cancellation of shows and concerts accross the world and forced nearly half of the world’s population indoors.

Currently, the global death toll has surpassed 140,000 and there are several reports that the actual figure could be higher.

Due to that, the social distancing imposed by many states is expected to last for as long as it takes, leading to a loss in revenue for many singers who depend on shows for their income.
