A Twitter user @Chiemeke has taken to the bird app to lash out at a landlord and house agent for the heavy price tag they placed on a worn-out house in Surulere, Lagos State.
Lagos is one of the most expensive places to get a house in Nigeria.
But even at that, tenants are interested in getting a decent value for whatever money they spend.
However, Ifeanyi appears to be disappointed at a certain house located in Aguda, Surulere.
According to him, coupled with utility bills and other fees, the house costs N520,000, which is outrageous for the quality of structure in place.
“Apparently, a landlord at Aguda in Surulere wants to collect N350, 000 as basic rent for this, ” he wrote.
“N520,000 total package.
“You people in #Lagos have your consciences seared with hot iron, because what in the dog shed is this?
“Hell is too mild for house agents, ” the irate man added.
As expected, the tweet has now gone viral with a lot of people bemoaning the cost of houses in Lagos.
