Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage, has bemoaned the lack of constant electricity in Nigeria in this modern age.
The singer took to Twitter to voice out her opinion, and you could almost hear the pain in her voice.
“2020, this is 2020 Nigeria and WE STILL DONT HAVE CONSTANT ELECTRICITY. Jesus Christ,” she wrote.
She is not the first celebrity to complain due to the lack of constant electricity in Nigeria. As a matter of fact, several celebrities have even passed a message across to the government via their songs.
However, things have not really improved for many years. Instead, the power supply across the country has continued to deteroriate.
Recently, the senate probed the Presidency over the lack of constant power supply in Nigeria despite the billions the government keeps pumping into the privately-owned electricity companies.
