UNIBEN Post UTME 2019 Form: Registration & Requirements

Follow this guide to register for the University of Benin (UNIBEN) 2019 Post UTME on the official portal.

UNIBEN, as the name suggests, is located in Benin City, the capital of Edo state. The institution is one of the oldest in Nigeria, as it was established in 1970.

In like manner to most Nigerian universities, the University of Benin holds Post UTME examinations annually for prospective students. However, there are several requirements and criteria for registering and sitting for this exam.

The official Post UTME registration portal for UNIBEN is https://uniben.waeup.org/applicants/.

Make sure you visit the portal using a computer, so as to enable full functionalities.

Requirements

To be able to register and participate in the University of Benin Post UTME exams, you must have scored a minimum of 180 in your JAMB UTME result. You need to have a valid email account as well.

Furthermore, you have to pay a non-refundable registration fee of N2,000.00 (Two Thousand Naira) only to complete your registration for the screening exercise.

You can do all of that on the official portal.

How to register for University of Benin (UNIBEN) post UTME

Step 1. Visit the official website of UNIBEN

Step 2. Click on the ‘Student Portal’ (found on the main menu)

Click on Studen portal and then Waeup portal on UNIBEN website

Step 3. Under student portal, locate and click on ‘Waeup Portal’

Step 4. Click on ‘application’.

Step 5. Scroll down to the button of the page and click on ‘UNIBEN ADMISSION SCREENING EXERCISE’ for your year. And after reading the instruction and closing date, click on ‘Register for application’.

Step 6. On the registration page, enter your Surname Exactly as written on the JAMB Registration slip, and JAMB Registration number. Immediately, your ID and Password will be displayed on the browser

Step 7. Visit uniben.waeup.org again and click on ‘Login’ this time around (found at the top right corner of the front page). Thereafter, enter your username and password to log in.

Step 8. To start the application process, click on ‘Application record’ and provide all the required information and upload your passport photograph.

Step 9. To complete your registration, click on “Add online payment ticket” at the bottom of the page, then click on “Pay with Remita” on the top left corner of the page, follow the instruction to pay the application fee of N 2,000:00. For this, you can make use of a valid ATM Card.

Step 10. Review and confirm your information before submitting your application online. Make sure there are no mistakes because no correction will be accepted after the closing date.

After completing your application, wait for the appointed date to print out the acknowledgment slip that contains your specific screening schedule.
