There are two ways to follow up on your University of Port-Harcourt admission status; you can either visit the official website of the institution to do that or log on to the JAMB CAPS.
The University of Port-Harcourt is a Federal university in Nigeria founded in 1975, making it one of the oldest institutions of higher learning in Nigeria. Also, UNIPORT is the first choice for thousands of applicants every year during UTME and Direct Entry registrations.

How to check your UNIPORT admission status on JAMB CAPS
To check if you have been offered provisional admission by the University of Port-Harcourt on CAPS:
Step 1. visit http://caps.jamb.gov.ng/ using your computer or phone
Step 2. Enter your JAMB username and password and click on login.
Step 3. Click on ‘Check UTME/DE Admission Status’.
Step 4. Select your exam year and enter your JAMB registration number.
Step 5. Click on ‘Check Admission Status’.
Thereafter, you’ll see a notification telling you whether or not you have gained admission into the University of Port Harcourt.
How to check the UNIPORT admission list on the school website
The official website of UNIPORT is uniport.edu.ng. As at the time of writing this, the institution doesn’t provide an explicit means of checking admission status on its website. Therefore, using the JAMB central admissions processing portal (CAPS) remains your best option.
What to do after the University of Port-Harcourt offers you admission
- visit JAMB CAPS to accept or reject the admission. But you must first O’level result (that’s if you haven’t done that before). See how to upload O’level on CAPS.
- Thereafter, you must visit the school portal to pay the acceptance fee. To do that, log on to https://aris.uniport.edu.ng/admissionacceptance, print the Invoice or copy the RRR and visit any bank near you and request to make payment for the UNIPORT acceptance fee using Remita.

Make sure you keep visiting the official website or the JAMB portal until the admission process is over because UNIPORT releases its admission lists in batches.
