Timothy Delgado, 43, and his wife Tamara Delgado, 45, were found their home on Sunday.
Authorities believe Mr Delgado who was a prosecutor with the US Attorney’s Office shot his wife fatally and then tuned the gun on himself.
Placer Sheriff revealed this in a statement via their official Twitter handle.
“We are investigating yesterday’s homicide as a murder/suicide. Decedents are Timothy Delgado, 43, & Tamara Delgado, 45, of Granite Bay. We believe that Mr. Delgado fatally shot his wife before turning the gun on himself. Mr. Delgado was a prosecutor with the US Attorney’s Office,” They wrote.
Information on their Facebook page reveals the couple got married in November 2019. As such, this unfortunate incident took place barely four months into their marriage.
Meanwhile, authorities are investigating to ascertain the full extent of what transpired between the pair.
