Duoye Diri is in a celebration mood right now after the supreme court made it certain that he’ll remain the Governor of Bayelsa state. A video trending on the internet shows him singing “you’re the most high” a popular Christian worship song.
The Supreme court sacked governor-elect David Lyon on 13 February 2020 after they concluded that Lyon’s deputy contested with fake results.
However, the APC vowed to appeal the judgement and they did. Meanwhile, the supreme court has waved off their appeal because it lacks merit.
“The decision of this court is final. It is final forever and no force on earth can force this court to change its decision on Bayelsa,” the judge who delievered the judgement said.
On that note, a viral video shows the governor singing Christian worship songs to celebrate his victory.
