Popular Nigerian actress, Kate Henshaw, has joined the call for the removal of Elisha Abbo as the patron of the Actors Guild of Nigeria.
She took to Twitter to call out the president of the AGN, Emeka Rollas, for appointing the Senator renown for slapping a woman at a sex toy shop in Abuja.
Kate Henshaw stated that Elisha Abbo isn’t worthy to be a Patron of the organisation, saying the women there do not want to be slapped.
”Emeka Rollas, I cannot find your handle on Twitter,” Kate Henshaw wrote. “My name is Kate Henshaw and I do not mince words when I say Abbo Elisha is NOT worthy to be a patron of the Actors Guild of Nigeria.
”We have women in this guild, and we do not want to be slapped,” she added.
The Adamawa lawmaker who was spotted in a viral video last year, assaulting a nursing mother in a sex toy shop.
The memory of that shameful incident appears fresh on the minds of several people. Hilda Dokubo who led the call for the removal of Elisha Abbo as AGN patron has since received support from several popular persons, including Oby Ezekwesili.
