Yul Edochie has warned Nigerians against buying fake chloroquine. According to the popular actor, some wicked Nigerians will be grinding chalk and packaging it as chloroquine to sell to people.
Ever since information emerged that chloroquine could be effective in the fight against coronavirus, several Nigerians have been rushing to stores to acquire the popular drug.
Indeed, one issue the Nigerian government might have to battle is the production of fake versions of the drug.
“I know by now some wicked Nigerians will be grinding chalk and packaging it as Chloroquine to sell to people, Yul Edochie tweeted. “God will punish all of them.
“Please stay vigilant, report and expose any suspicious movement. The Almighty God will see us through this,” he added.
Meanwhile, Nigeria has recorded only 12 cases of the deadly coronavirus; however, several people are as expected highly concerned.
In a bid to avoid a potential spread, the Federal Government of Nigeria has ordered schools nationwide to close up.
