An 86-year-old African-American woman from Louisiana, Antoinette Franklin, has died after contracting the deadly coronavirus. Sadly, she didn’t die alone. Three of her sons also died after testing positive to the bug.
Accoding to a close family source the four of them died just days apart.
The woman who died on March 23, was a lifelong New Orleans resident who loved her city and going to church, according to WDSU.
“My uncle passed, my grandmother passed, my dad passed, then my other uncle passed,” devasted Anthony Franklin said. “It’s literally like seven to eight days apart. It’s horrific.
“I want the world to know if it happened to the Franklin family it could happen to any family.
Jacqueline Franklin, who had two children with Anthony Franklin Sr., told WDSU. “Let’s take this serious. My children have to bury their father, their precious grandmother and their uncles.”
The US is currently experiencing a torrid time, as they are at the moment the worst-hit nation in the world in terms of infections.
