Ma Kean Itubo Itari Umasala was allegedly 160 years old when she passed away.
At the age of 160, she wouldn’t have been just the oldest woman in Rivers State, but also the oldest woman in the world. And that was the claim of a certain Facebook user.
Progress Fuby Halliday, shared the old woman’s picture with the caption, “Jubilation as the oldest woman in Rives State dies at 160 years.
“Ma Kean Itubo Itari Umasala of Aminigboko Abua in Abua/Odual Local Government Area of Rivers State dies at the ripe age of 160 years.
“Family sources said Mama have been begging God to take her life since 70 years ago,” he added.
Just by looking at the wrinkles the late mama had on her face and body, one can tell that she was way above the age of 100.
However, Guinness World Record didn’t verify her as the oldest person in the world, which she would have deserved if she was really that old.
Currently, the officially confirmed oldest person is Kane Tanaka from Fukuoka, Japan. She is 116 years old.
Recall that just a few weeks back, another user alleged that her old grandmother died at the age of 132 in Cross River state.
