Buhari’s Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, earlier shared a tweet questioning the veracity of the viral video of a man taking off his PPE and dumping it at the surrounding of the cemetery.

However, after people countered him, he quickly deleted the controversial remarks.

Meanwhile, some Twitter users had taken the screenshot of the tweet prior to the delete.

Bashir Ahmad had written saying, ‘the video of an NCDC official dumping his PPE is misleading. True, some officials removed their PPEs at the cemetery, but a dedicated staff went around, picked all and put them in a casket and then used a chemical to burn them. They also disinfected the environment immediately.

@Ourfirstdoctor, however, quickly shared a screenshot of the tweet alerting the general public.

‘Bashir Ahmad tweeted this & quickly deleted it,’ First Doctor wrote. ‘He thought he could simply dig dirt on the viral video like he always does when he lies then accuse other people of ‘misinformation’.

‘Unfortunately, the video evidence was so real he had to save face by quickly deleting the tweet,’ he added.
