New BBNaija housemate, Nengi has been accused of lying about her age. As there were discrepancies surrounding her age declaration on different occasions.
Probably, she least expected that tweeps will be so interested in digging deep into their profiles – unfortunately, they did.
A Twitter user who did seem to have initiated the digging backed up her claims with a screenshot showing the discrepancies.
Recall that it has just been a few hours into this new season of the Big Brother Naija reality show and there has been so much drama about the new housemates in the house.
Rebecca Nengi Hampson was accused of lying about her age on the show. During her introduction at the show premiere, Nengi told Ebuka Obi Uchendu, the season’s host, that she is 20-year-old.
However, A particular tweep identified as @mizzeah_ appeared to have taken the trouble to run a check on the BBNaija housemate.
The lady posted a photo which was shared on Nengi’s official Instagram page. In the caption, Nengi was described as a 22-year-old from Bayelsa and was also said to have won the Miss Peace Bayelsa contest in 2014.
Again, @mizzeah_ shared a distinctive screenshot from the official page of the Miss Peace beauty pageant.
The screenshot contained the required age for those who are eligible to participate in the contest and it looks like there are discrepancies in Nengi’s age.

In other BBNaija story, Naijahomebased gathered the report of a new housemate, Laycon, who was trolled following his appearance in the Big Brother house because of his looks.
Only for news to surface online that he was reported to the best graduating student from the Department of Arts in the University of Lagos (UNILAG) in 2016, however.
As expected, the trolls turned to accolades as fans began singing his praise online.
