Aside from that, her lies opened doors to several opportunities, including getting a verified Instagram account.

In 2019, Blessing Okoro made headlines for all the wrong reasons. She posted a picture of a beautiful mansion to prove to her followers that she owned a house.

However, it was all a lie. As a result, the real owner of the mansion Onye Eze requested for her arrest for impersonation.

In the aftermath of that incident, Blessing became more popular and her fan base increased immensely.

Meanwhile, her fans keep attacking her for that lie. In response to that, she shared a post expressing her surprise at the rate they attack her over an ‘ordinary lie’.

Consequently, a user responded by saying she killed her brand because of the ordinary lie.

On that note, she responded by boasting of her achievement ever since. According to Blessing Okoro, she has made over 30 million naira because of that lie and has earned a verified handle.

With the blue mark, one can confirm she has indeed earned a verified Instagram account.
