The remains of the late Abba Kyari, who was Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived Abuja.
Buhari’s Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, broke the news, saying he will later today, ‘be buried’ according to Islamic rites.
He was reportedly flown in via a private jet from Lagos where he died.
The late Abba Kyari was the first notable person to contract the novel coronavirus. According to several sources, he had serious underlying health conditions which, plus age was not on his side, contributing to his failure to recover from the illness.
The late Chief of Staff was 82 years old. He died leaving behind a wife and four children.
