Former vice president of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar has revealed that his son tested positive for coronavirus.
The popular politician who was the presidential candidate for the People’s Democratic Party took to Twitter to share the news with Nigerians.
He urged everyone to put him in their prayers.
“My son has tested positive to coronavirus,” Atiku Abubakar wrote. “@NCDCGov has been duly informed, and he has been moved to Gwagwalada Specialist Teaching Hospital in Abuja for treatment and management.
“I will appreciate it if you have him in your prayers. Stay safe, coronavirus is real,” he added.
Meanwhile, it isn’t clear which of his son contracted the infectious bug. We will update you as soon as we have any information regarding this.
