Lagos State Govt Discharges Four Coronavirus Patients

Lagos State government has, on Friday, 3rd April, discharged four new COVID-19 patients who were in isolation.

Sanwo-Olu who broke the news via his official Twitter handle revealed that the discharged persons include 3 females and 1 males who ‘recovered fully’ and tested negative twice.

“More great news from our Infectious Disease Hospital as 4 patients; 3 females and 1 male have recovered fully, tested negative twice and have been discharged,” The Governor wrote.

“This gives us a lot of hope as we continue to listen to our health experts and provide the resources to beat Covid-1.

“With the newly discharged patients, we now have a total of 23 people that have recovered from #COVID19 in Lagos.

“Big thanks to our health workers working hard during this time. Please continue social distancing to avoid becoming the weak link in our collective efforts.

Meanwhile, the number of infections continue to increase everyday as well, with Lagos currently boasting 98 cases, which is more than half of the 190 total nationwide.
