Just as the cases of Coronavirus is Increasing on daily basis, Nigeria who recorded her first case a few weeks back now has another case.
The Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, has announced a second confirmed case of Coronavirus in Nigeria.
According to reports gathered by Naijahomebased, the victim made contact with the Italian that brought coronavirus to Nigeria.
He was one of the forty persons that have been in isolation over the weeks having made close contact with the Italian.
In a Tweet posted by The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) they confirmed this report.
“This second case is a contact of the index case, in Ogun State,” NCDC tweeted.
“The new case has been in isolation and was tested as part of our strategy to test all contacts of the index case,” they added.
