Nigeria records 16 New Cases of COVID-19 Nationwide tally reaches 254

The NCDC has announced sixteen new cases of COVID-19. Ten among the new cases are in Lagos, 2 are in the FCT and Oyo each, while Delta and Kataina have one apiece.

Nigeria has 16 new cases of COVID-19. The total is now 254.

The nationwide tally has now risen to 254.

below are the cases based on the states in Nigeria, according to the NCDC:

Lagos- 130
FCT- 50
Osun- 20
Oyo- 11
Edo- 11
Bauchi- 6
Akwa Ibom- 5
Kaduna- 5
Ogun- 4
Enugu- 2
Ekiti- 2
Rivers-2
Benue- 1
Ondo- 1
Kwara- 2
Delta- 1
Katsina-1

Meanwhile, not all the cases are active cases, as six people have died while 44 people have recovered.

Meaning, the number of people currently infected with COVID-19 are 204.
