The National centre for disease control has recorded six new cases of the novel coronavirus bringing the total number of cases in Nigeria to 238.
The NCDC took to its official Twitter handle today, on the 6th of April to make this announcement.
It tweeted, “Six new cases of #COVID-19 have been reported in Nigeria:2 in Kwara, 2 in Edo, 1 in Rivers and 1 in FCT.
“As at 09:30 pm 6th April, there are 238 confirmed cases of #COVID-19 reported in Nigeria. Thirty five have been discharged with five deaths, ” it added.
The health agency went further to give a break down of all the confirmed cases in all the affected states of the country.
