Some corp members have taken to their social media accounts to celebrate after getting their alert of N33,000.
We previously shared a report confirming that the president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, recently approved an increase from the regular N19,800 that corp members received as monthly stipends.
Several pictures confirming the 33k alert have started making rounds on the internet and as expected have sparked widespread jubilation. Although, some Corp members claim not to have received their own alerts.
Indeed, monthly alerts don’t arrive at the same time for everyone. Therefore, it isn’t necessarily a cause for alarm.
The reasons for that could be stemming from their banks or a delay in payment by the state.
Whatever the case may be, some are already celebrating and hopefully, the celebration will reach every corp member.
In any case, some Corp members have taken to their account to describe what they plan to do with increase. Others, on the other hand, who have finished serving are expressing their wish to go and pick up their khaki again.
