Apparently, Davido tested negative for Covid-19; however, two people he’s had close contacts with recently, in the persons of Chioma and Seyi Makinde, tested positive for the virus.
As such, several people have been expressing their surprise, to the point that Davido is even trending more than the Seyi Makinde who tested positive for the virus.
About a week ago, shortly after returning from the United States, Davido visited the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde. They were really close and took several pictures which Davido subsequently shared on Instagram.
Chioma, on the other hand, is Davido’s fiancee. Therefore, they spend the night together and must have cuddled and kissed on countless occasions.
Clearly, most people believe coronavirus is highly contagious and are surprised Davido is negative despite sharing close contact with both cases.
“Davido has met with Gov. Seyi Makinde & of course his fiancé Chioma in the last 7-14 days. If he isn’t infected with Coronavirus. HE IS THE ANTIDOTE,” Okon wrote.
“He automatically becomes the answer to the world’s problem,” he added.
A funny blogger, Abdul Ugbedeojo wrote saying, “Davido’s immune system is stronger than Arsenal defence”

Well, there’s no proof whatsoever that Seyi Makinde got the virus from Davido, so making such assertions is unreasonable.
The singer is negative and will continue to remain negative until test results prove otherwise.
Like a user rightly said, some people are tweeting like they want Davido to test positive for COVID-19.
We all should be hoping that Davido, who’s clearly one of the biggest singers in Nigeria, remains in good health and never test positive to the bug.
In any case, COVID-19 is not a death sentence, like Atiku Abubakar rightly said.
