Several Nigerians have taken to social media to hit out at popular actress, Eniola Badmus, for what they referred to as violating NCDC self-isolation directive.
Eniola Badmus recently returned from the UK, which currently has thousands of covid-19 cases. As such, she expected to not associate with anyone until her 14 days self-isolation period is over.
However, Eniola Badmus was hosted by Funke Akindele, an act which goes against NCDC’s directive of 14 days self-isolation. To confirm this, Funke Akindele shared pictures of her visit on her Instagram story.
Because of that, several people took to social media to lash out at her.
Meanwhile, she has now shared a tweet to defend her actions claiming that she drove her own car to visit her “dear friend”.
Nigeria has now recorded 35 cases of the deadly coronavirus. Most of the confirmed cases are in Lagos. Moreover, a big proportion of all the cases so far are people recently returned from travels.
Recall that we reported that a son to the former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, tested positive to coronavirus.
