A staff of the Fidelity Bank who recently came back from a trip to the United Kingdom has tested positive for COVID-19.

This was confirmed in a statement released by the bank. 

Quite fortunately, the said staff did not go to the bank after he returned, however, he delivered some consignment to two of his colleagues in person.

In any case, colleagues who collected the consignment from the victim have been made to self-isolate.

The branch where they work have been shut down and not a single customer has been identified in the contact tracing that was done.

According to the statement released by the bank’s divisional head for brand and communications, Charles Aigbe, the UK returnee has been transferred to NCDC.
