Glo Call Barring Code, Plus How to Activate and Deactivate Barring

Glo call barring is a service that allows customers of the network to block incoming or outgoing calls on their line.

You can activate or deactivate call barring using the Glo toolkit. Alternatively, you can dial some simple codes on your mobile device.

First of all, you have to change from the default barring code, which is set at 0000.

To do that, dial **03*330*old barring code*new barring code*new barring code#

And you must dial the above code using your Glo line.

To bar outgoing calls to national numbers (within Nigeria), dial *33*barring code#; and to deactivate, dial #33*barring code#.
To bar outgoing calls for international numbers, dial *331*barring code#; and to cancel, dial #331*barring code#
To bar all incoming calls nationally, dial *35*barring code#; and to deactivate, dial #35*barring code#.
To bar incoming calls when roaming, dial *351*barring code#; and to cancel, dial #351*barring code#.

If you’re interested in canceling all barring services you’ve activated on your line, dial #330*barring code#.

Here are important things to note:

You cannot use the codes above effectively if call forwarding / diverts is enabled on your Glo line.
Activating any of the codes above will not only affect voice calls; they will also affect SMS, fax and data.
