A 28-year-old man, identified as Angus Chukwebuka Nwankwo has been handed over to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) by vigilantes in Nanka, Orumba North Council of Anambra State.

Chukwuebuka told the police that he murdered the deceased because he was resolute on having anal sex with him, (Chukwuebuka).

According to him, he met the deceased on Facebook and they both agreed to meet in Nanka for the homosexual deeds.

Chukwuebuka stated that the deceased promised to give him ₦20,000 if he agreed to have sex with him.

He said, “We met on Facebook and he asked if I could engage in homosexual acts with him and I said no, but after much pressure, I succumbed.”

According to Chukwuebuka, the deceased came all the way from Imo state just to have anal sex with him.

“He promised to give me N20,000 if I had sex with him. As soon as he came in, I asked for the money and he said he would give me the money after he satisfied the urge, which brought him all the way from Imo State.”

“I insisted he must pay me the money he promised. That was how a fight started. He was the first to hit me with a stick and I fell down.

My younger brother who was with me held him down while I  picked up the stick and hit him and he died,” he said.

According to reports by The Nation, Chukwuebuka 0revealed that after killing the deceased,m he and his brother, reported the incident to Vigilantes in Nanka.

The vigilantes then handed them over to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad in Nanka. The incident reportedly happened in Nanka, Orumba North Council of Anambra State.

Speaking on the incident, the suspect’s younger brother, Chidiebere told newsmen that his brother was not a homosexual.

According to The Guardian, Chidiebere said his brother is into comedy and music as well as learning plumbing work in Lagos. He said he returned from Lagos to the village for a burial​ function.

“My senior brother told me​ there is one homosexual coming to our place who promised to give him N20,000​ after the sexual act. He said as soon as the man comes, he would just collect his money from him and discharge him,” he said.

Angus Chukwebuka Nwankwo and his relative, Chidiebere Omeyi were among over 100 suspects displayed over the weekend at the police headquarters in Amawbia, Awka South-South Local Government Area of the state.
