Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God had taken to his twitter handle to pass a message across.
The cleric had titled the message “Crush that crush,”
Pastor Adeboye said, in the course of his message on Wednesday, that he asked his son to sack his secretary so as to avoid falling into the sin of adultery.
Furthermore, he stated that it was important for married couples to keep their bodies holy like the temple of God
The GO went on to say, “One of my sons once told me that he was always excited to resume in the office every Monday because he would get to see his secretary again”
He said, “I told him to fire her immediately. Nothing and no one is worth your marriage.”
After stating that he asked his son to sack that secretary, he went further to ask some rhetorical questions.
Asking, “What is a married woman doing on the phone with another man for countless minutes? Why would a married man be spending so much time with another man’s wife? Why would you prefer to discuss intimate issues with your friend of the opposite sex instead of your God-given spouse?”

The GO of RCCG stressed the importance of married couples spending more time together; asides from spending time together should also exchange compliments.
On the contrary, this did not go well with some Nigerians on social media who criticized his manner of dealing with adultery.
They stated their differing opinions on the issue, arguing that an innocent woman should in all senses not be fired on account of her boss developing feelings for her.
