Today’s match happens to be the second leg of the semi-final match between Juventus and AC Milan in the Coppa Italia.
The first leg match was played in San Siro before the coronavirus induced lockdown and it ended 1-1.
Cristiano Ronaldo who helped score a late goal for the Seria A defending champion in the first leg has kicked off this second leg in a bad note.
Juventus was awarded a penalty just fifteen minutes into the first half. However, 5-time Ballon D’or winner, Ronaldo, missed the penalty and missed the opportunity to help his team take the lead in such a crucial game.
The game ended in a goalless draw and as it appears, Juventus are through to the finals of the Coppa Italia.
Having played 1-1 in the first leg, Juventus qualifies on away goal.
