How to complete JAMB change your course / Institution on the official portal

Step 1. Visit JAMB eFacility portal and log in using the email and password you used in creating your JAMB profile.

In the event that you forgot your JAMB login details, try JAMB password / email recovery option by following this guide.

Step 2. Once logged in, click on “Correction of Data”. This is available on the sidebar or on the Homepage. Thereafter, click on “Course/Institution”.

Step 3. Review the Transaction ID the portal generates and click pay if you wish to pay with your card immediately. If you wish to use other payment channels like ATM, Cash at the Bank or Quickteller, please note that you’ll have to provide the transaction ID.

The cost of JAMB change of course/institution form is 2500 naira only.

Step 4. After completing your payment, visit any JAMB office near you to complete your change of course/institution.

And after completing all the steps above, JAMB will now process your application. And if Approved, your details will change as per your request.

Reasons you might consider changing your course, institution or other application data?

Reason 1: You made a mistake during the course of registering your JAMB profile information and personal data.

For example, you used a wrong date of birth or mixed up one of your names, then we advise you to correct them. And the only way to do that is by following the steps we mentioned above.

Reason 2: Loss of interest/change of mind on institution or course

Several students at some point — due to one reason or the other — decide they no longer want the course or institution they applied for.

In that case, it is better to complete your JAMB change of course/institution as possible.

Reason 3. Your JAMB score is very low

If you scored lower than the cutoff mark for your course or institution, then it is very much appropriate to apply for a change.

For instance, if you applied for Medicine and ended up scoring just 180, then, your chances of gaining admission for Medicine will become slim. In that case, it’ll be very wise to request a change.

• State of Origin
• Passport photograph
• UTME subject combination
• Gender
• And other profile information

But you have the opportunity to change your course/institution 2 times, albeit at the cost of 2500 naira each.
