Kanye West has taken to Twitter to celebrate his wife Kim Kardashian West after reports emerged that she has attained billionaire status.
News had earlier emerged that beauty conglomerate Coty acquired a 20 percent stake in Kim’s KKW Beauty for $200 million, valuing the cosmetics and fragrance business at $1 billion.
“I am so proud of my beautiful wife Kim Kardashian West for officially becoming a billionaire You’ve weathered the craziest storms and now God is shining on you and our family So blessed this is still life So I made you this still life We love you so much,” The rapper cum business tycoon wrote.
Speaking on the new deal with Coty, the mother-of-four told TMZ: “This relationship will allow me to focus on the creative elements that I’m so passionate about while benefiting from the incredible resources of Coty, and launching my products around the world.”
This is coming barely two months after Forbes announced that Kanye West is officially a billionaire.
Coty had also earlier invested in Kim’s sister, Kylie Jenner’s line in 2019 and also valued her business at over $1 billion.
However, last month, Forbes published an article that claimed Kylie isn’t a billionaire anymore because she actually inflated her net worth immensely by falsifying tax returns and other financial documents.
