Biography
Mike was born into the family of Mr & Mrs Ezuruonye in the Southwestern part of Nigeria in Lagos state.
The Lagos state born actor, however, hails from Uzoakoli in Abia State, Nigeria. He is the eldest of four children in his family.

He attended the Federal Government College, Wukari in Taraba state and went on to Archbishop Aggey Memorial school, Lagos.
After his secondary education, Ezuruonye gained admission into Nnamdi Azikiwe University to study Accounting.

Nkechi used to be a Canadian-based medical psychologist, later she relocated back to Nigeria, where she met Mike in a movie set.

career
Mike Ezuruonye who studied accounting revealed that before going into the movie industry, he was looking at other areas like law, banking and so he said this in an interview with Vanguard.
Prior to becoming a movie star, the actor worked in the banking sector.
He also said in the same interview that his good friend and colleague, Dayo Amusa, introduced him to acting.
She felt he had all it takes to be a good actor and kept pushing him. Apparently, he decided to give it a try and today, he can be listed among Nollywood’s finests.

Had a growth encroaching the pupil of both eyes cos of overexposure to HARSH movie Production LIGHTS over the Years. (Heard looking into your PHONE/COMPUTER for too long also puts one in Danger). Advised to get Surgery done, I was Scared.
In addition, he said, “After Surgery, for over 8 hrs, I was without sight as my eyes were Demanded Tightly Closed, Tightly Shut by the Ophthalmologist Team of Doctors.

“But God is always Faithful…Glad Surgery was SUCCESSFUL and I will be back real soon to my work and Passion,” he said.
