Nigeria COVID-19 cases rise to 1,728 as NCDC announces 196 new cases

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 196 new cases of coronavirus, taking the nationwide tally to 1728.

Lagos State posts more than one-third of the new cases (87) while the next is Kano, which recorded 24 cases.

Below are the list of cases per state:

Based on the new announcement, there has been confirmed cases in 34 states and the FCT.
