Nigeria Records 220 New Cases of COVID-19; Total Now 2,388

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 220 new cases of the novel coronavirus in Nigeria. Consequently, the nationwide tally has now risen to 220.

Of the new cases, Lagos recorded 62 while the FCT recorded 52.

Noticeably, the number recorded in Kano state dropped sharply to just 2 cases after recording large numbers in each of the previous two announcements.

Below are the list of states and their new cases.

Overall, Lagos has 1068 cases while Kano has 313.

The death toll has now risen to 85 while the number of discharged patients stands at 385.
