Several concerned Nigerians have taken to social media to hit out at popular Nigerian singer, Zlatan Ibile, for saying he doesn’t ‘believe in Corona’.
The singer made the declaration on a live Instagram chat with Bankulli Osha.
He started by talking about how his May 10th show in London was cancelled. Then Bankulli answered saying, because of corona, right?
Zlatan Ibile then responded saying vehemently that he doesn’t believe in corona. However, Bankulli answered him saying he has to believe.
However, the singer remained defiant in his opinion, telling Bankulli that he cannot force him to believe in corona.

In the full video, he added saying coronavirus is not for children of God and that if Bankulli knows anyone with coronavirus, he should bring the person let him kiss them.
To that effect, Nigerians have been reacting angrily, with some calling him ‘illiterate’ for saying he doesn’t believe in corona.
The global coronavirus infection toll for has surpassed 2 million while the death toll has climbed above 130,000. Therefore, it is easy to understand why his misleading comment has attracted so much criticism.
Zlatan had prior to this wished his enemy ‘die of corona’, which also sparked a serious backlash.
