Former Nigerian senator, Dino Melaye, has raised concerned about the fact that ‘no African president’ has openly addressed the harassment of Africans in China.
In his 5 minute long speech, he call on Cyril Ramaphosa who is currently the president of both South Africa and the African Union to address the issue with immediate effect
‘Our brothers and sisters being molested, are being insulted, are being harassed, are be maimed in Africa,’ he said.
‘We have not seen any African president come out to holistically address or call out the president of China.
‘We are not to be treated like animals,’ he added.
He continued by saying the present generation of Africans are different from the ones that were stolen as slaves and passed around the world.
He added saying, Africans must be protected wherever they are in the world, except they have al been compromised by China.
‘This day, I remember Mugabe and I wish Nelson Mandela was still alive. Will he keep quiet in the face of obvious obscurity,’ he asked rhetorically.
