An Engineer by the name Jide Bello has taken to social media to narrate his unfortunate ordeal in the hands of Nigerian soldiers in Ondo State.
He revealed that he presented an ID card to the soldiers to prove that he works with NTA; however, the ‘illiterate’ soldiers didn’t understand him neither could they read the ID card.
They went on to beat him up, as the bruises on his body suggest. But, fortunately, their superior who could understand him came to his rescue and then apologised on their behalf.
However, the did is done, as he left with several bruises on his back. Furthermore, he disclosed that he’ll subject himself to ’14 days of isolation’ because of the interaction with the soldiers.
