Published on

Mr Samuel Olorunwa has resigned his membership with the ruling All Progressive Congress following a series of misunderstandings.

Prior to his resignation, Olorunwa worked as the Chairman of the party in Ese- Odo Local Government government Area of Ondo State.

It is not clear what exactly triggered his resignation. However, he reportedly shares a close relationship with the deputy governor of the state, Mr Agboola Ajayi, who also recently relinquished his membership of the party.

Samuel Olurunwa declined to comment whether or not he’ll be joining the opposition People’s Democratic Party, The Punch said.

Meanwhile, several sources reveal he will soon make public his defection to the PDP, in a huge blow for the APC.

This is coming as a huge blow to the APC that has been rocked by several high profile defections in recent times, including that of the governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki.
