A police brutality victim in Osun State, Tola Azeez, has called out Nigerian singer, Oritse Femi, for making a video with her predicament.

Recall that NaijaHomeBased earlier reported that the incident took place in Iwo, Osun State.

The two police officers who brutalised the woman were subsequently dismissed as confirmed by a police statement.

Apparently, Nigerian singer used it in a music video he released to sensitize people about the current pandemic.

However, that move didn’t sit well with the victim, who took to social media to describe it as insensitive.

Oluyemi Fasipe wrote saying, “Do you remember the viral video of a lady that was flogged by some rogue policemen in Iwo, Osun State? Oritse Femi used the video in his new music video justifying the actions of the policemen who have since been dismissed. Some of your celebrities are very insensitive.

Responding to the post Tola Azeez wrote saying, “Yes, very very insensitive. I even tried to reach out. He called my bluff. How does he think I fee?”

Indeed, Oritse Femi used the video in a context that doesn’t paint the picture of what actually transpired.
