Oyo state governor, Seyi Makinde offers to donate his blood for research on a cure for Coronavirus

The Executive Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde has volunteered to donate his blood for research on a potential cure for the deadly Coronavirus.

Seyi had tested positive for COVID-19 in March. However, he recovered quite fast.

After his recovery, he revealed that he took honey, Vitamin C, and black seed oil which helped to to boost his immune system and fight the deadly virus.

He tweeted, “We have been advocating for local solutions to the COVID-19 pandemic in Oyo state.

So, as a COVID-19 survivor, i volunteered to donate my blood to be studied by our experts researching on the “Evaluation of Post Infection Protecction Against SARS-COV-2 (COVID-19) in Nigeria.”
