The Nigerian police have released photos of the two Polices officer involved in the death of 16-year-old Tina dead.
They have now been identified as ASP Theophilus Otobo and Inspector Oguntoba Olamigoke.
Recall that many Nigerians have been calling for the 16-year-old as the hashtag #justiceforTina has been trending on Twitter since the disturbing video of the incident emerged online.
It even prompted a response to Lagos State police spokesperson, Bala Elkana, who responded saying, “The killer cop is identified, arrested and detained at the Headquarters. He will face the full weight of the law. Justice will surely prevail.
“Members of the Public will be updated on the outcome of the investigation.“
The incident leading to Tina’s death took place in Iyana-Oworo area of Lagos state on Wednesday, May 27.
The officers were said to have killed the conductor of the bus whom they accused of flouting the lockdown order. However, in an attempt to shoot at the driver, they missed and ended up killing Tina.
