A pregnant cashier has reportedly collapsed after receiving a sack letter from Access Bank.
The three months pregnant woman, identified as Taiwo, was attached to Ketu/Ikorodu branch, Lagos State.
Recall that NaijaHomeBased shared a leaked video of the bank’s DG revealing 75% off the bank staff face the sack.
According to him, the it is necessary in order to help the bank cope with the financial difficulties imposed by the COVID-19 outbreak.
“Her name is Taiwo. When she got the news today, she collapsed,” Sahara Reporters quoted her colleague as saying.
“There were two of them affected by the mass retrenchment from Ketu/Ikorodu Road branch, as of now.
“We will get to know more on Monday about others who were affected. The Taiwo lady is about two or three months pregnant.
“When she heard the news, she collapsed. It was friends and family around her that rushed her to the hospital,” the source added.
