Reactions as man beats wife, brags about it and dares police to arrest him

Published on

A man identified as Afobaje Maiyegun allegedly beat his wife and then went on to brag about it on Facebook; dares the police to come and arrest him.

According to Afobaje, he had only talked to the woman. This means he sees battering his wife as merely talking to her.

Alongside photos of his badly wounded wife which he shared on FB, he wrote: “I beat my wife and am waiting for her police because I talk to a woman.”

Apparently, he posted the photos a week ago, on the 5th of May. However, it just caught the attention of Facebook users today and they are currently dragging and lashing out at him.

From the comment of one Facebook user with the name, Shola Soji-John, it appears the man lives in Lagos.

Shola has also called on Lagosians to help track the man, noting that ‘he must not go unpunished’.
