Nigerian filmmaker, Prof Ukay, was in shock earlier today after she was refused entry into the National Assembly for dressing indecently.

As a matter of fact, several people have expressed surprise at the incident.

Meanwhile, she was there to cover the social media bill that has so far attracted widespread criticism.

Prof UKay took to Twitter to share he experience and to ask what the dress code policy fo entering the national assembly.

“Dear @nassnigeria what is your dress code policy for entering the National Assembly? Today I was denied access to cover the #socialmediabill public hearing for my organisation @AmplifiedR on the grounds that I am indecently dressed,” she wrote.

Meanwhile, she also revealed that another person who tried to speak on her behalf was not allowed in too because his jean had a few rips.
