‘Share food, drinks & money to the people directly not the govt. don’t ask me why’ – Dino Malaye advises Billionaires

Former Nigerian Senator, Dino Melaye, has advised billionaires and philanthropists looking to donate to the public during the COVID-19 lockdown.

Dino took to his Instagram page to pass the message across.

He said, “My singular advise to our billionaires, Corporate Nigeria, multinationals, philanthropists and donors.

“Please buy medicament, food and drinks plus money and share to the people directly at the federal or state level. I no hear English (I don’t understand English) so don’t ask me why.”

Recall that Naijahomebased reported that the Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19 in Abuja on April 2nd, said that the money they are currently collecting will not come to government. It is a separate bank account.

the National Coordinator of the task force, Dr Sani Aliyu, said this while briefing Nigerians on how the funds donated are being utilised.
