A soldier has reportedly killed 20 people and injured many more after going on a gun rampage in the Thai city of Nakhon Ratchasima.

According to the BBC, his victim included a 63-year-old woman and his superior officer.

The suspect has been identified as Jakraphanth Thomma, a junior officer, in the Thailand army.

Before going on the shooting spree, he, first of all, killed his commanding officer and then stole weapons from a military camp. After the rampage, he drove to the city centre and entered a shopping complex.

His motives remain unclear; however, he posted several images of the attack on Facebook, suggesting that he enjoyed the bloodbath.

He has now been declared wanted by Thailand Police

At the moment, Facebook has taken down his page, with a message saying: “Our hearts go out to the victims, their families and the community affected by this tragedy in Thailand. There is no place on Facebook for people who commit this kind of atrocity, nor do we allow people to praise or support this attack.”
