The terrorist group has been causing havoc in Nigeria, especially in the Northern part of the country for the past ten years.

they have killed thousands and rendered about 2.3 million citizens homeless. With about 250,000 of the displaced Nigerians fleeing to Cameroun, Niger or Chad.

The Federal Government has since launched a program to give amnesty to contrite terrorists.

Also, a bill to establish an agency that will look out for the repentant insurgents is currently being debated by the Senate.
