This guide will show you how to contact UBA customer care via live chat, phone number, email or Whatsapp.

United Bank for Africa, popularly called UBA, is one of the biggest banks in the African continent.

The financial giant boast customers in several West African countries and beyond.

For a bank with so much customer base, providing adequate means of contacting a customer care agent is a necessity. 

Thank goodness, UBA has so far not fallen short of providing customers with all the needed means of receiving assistance.

Depending on your preference, we believe all of the optional ways to get help are highly effective.

To get help via a phone call, you can dial any of the following numbers:

Take note that the numbers above are not toll-free. In other words, you’ll get charged depending on your ISP.

The call rate is a bit high IMO, so I’d say I don’t fancy using UBA customer care phone numbers. 

However, you will definitely get the support you seek if you dial any of those numbers.

UBA customer care live chat / online chat 

One of the best ways to get quick help is via the live chat. On the live chat portal, all you have to do is fill in your full name, email address, phone number and click on submit.

After clicking on submit, you’ll get connected to a customer care representative within a few minutes.

Alternatively, you can use the UBA live video chat to speak face to face with a customer care representative. 

On the UBA customer service page, locate and click on video chat.

Enter your full name, phone number, email and click on continue. A customer care representative will attend to you within a few minutes.

    • Hi Gift, sometimes they delay in implementing those changes. If you are in a hurry and still haven’t noticed the change just contact them online again to remind them.

Angry customer? this useless bank called UBA is scam,imagine i bought data from my acct and they debited but didn’t see the data so at first i thought it was network so when i didn’t see throughout the night i tried again in the morning (2times)and same thing happened,and this is not just happening there was a time they removed 5k from my acct with no good excuse when i speak with their customer care……I’m not using this useless bank again, am choked and God will judge for doing this and being so mean to your customers cause i know I’m not the only person that experience this……how can 1500 just go like that with no good reasons ?

    • Hi Omowumi, sorry for the money you lost. I want you to know that it’s hard to see a bank in Nigeria where you wouldn’t face such challenges at some points. If you’re really interested in getting your money back, I advise you contact customer care using the live chat, and make sure you explain in details what happened and the date of your transactions. Good luck on that.

Good evening, I have issue with my ATM card on the 15/04/19 around 9.07am i withdraw 20000 from my account the machine debted me without paying me at 1st Bank Agric branch and on the 16/04/19 i went to UBA branch at Anthony to lodge the complain and i called the customer care 232 and i explained to the that picked the call and she said i gave them till 23/04/19 up till now the money have not reverse back.

    • I advise you use the live chat portal to connect with a UBA customer care representative again, reminding them of the complaint you lodged. You will get your money back, hopefully.

Your customer care service is bad,i called your customer care number four times today and they didnt pick , u pple r wasting my airtime, on sunday i tried buying data through mobile app , i was debited three times, no money , no data, i called your customer care service to complain , i was told to wait for 24hrs, and today is wednesday , i tried to buy another data today same thing i was debited no money , no data pls look into this

  24. Complaint : On 5th April, I use mobile app to do money transfer. My account was debited and shows transactions successful but up to know the recipient account has not been credited. Please I need your help.

    • The bank network was most likely down as at when you tried withdrawing. In most cases, the bank reverses unpaid debits within 48 hours. If that time frame has elapsed and you’ve not seen a reversal, then kindly visit any UBA branch near you or contact customer care online.
